Green House adopters strive to live our core values of Real Home, Meaningful Life, and Empowered Staff every day. That’s why we worked with providers and the Calvin University Center for Social Research to develop the MERIT tool: an annual assessment that identifies areas where adopters have been successful in implementing those core values, as well as opportunities for improvement.

The Green House Project partners with Calvin University to perform the online MERIT assessment every year.

Why MERIT Matters

MERIT protects the investment an organization made in the model and provides Green House adopters tools to achieve a slip-resistant culture.

“Our organization made a significant invest in moving to the Green House model and the MERIT surveys keep us focused on sustainability. We believe in the model and have witnessed the outcomes, so the data and comparisons outweigh the effort.”

Bill Pickhardt, COO, John Knox Village, Florida

The data that is compiled will allow you to identify strengths and weaknesses, allow you to work together toward goals … [and] actually makes the Shahbaz and clinical staff feel that they have a voice.

Kelly Park, Administrator, The Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place, Arkansas

As a QAPI facilitator, MERIT is an invaluable tool for identification, analysis, measurement and process improvement.
