A dedication ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. on Oct. 21 and the public is invited to hear the speakers and then tour the homes in small groups.
The first phase of the project involves opening two homes, Freedom House and Liberty House. “This is definitely the future of skilled nursing care and we are proud to be the leader in VA,” Michael Hamilton, Director of Illiana System said. “We believe this transformation of care will dramatically enrich our veterans’ lives and the lives of the next generation of veterans.”
